My series of monoprints are tranquil images of nature that surround me; hazy summer cornfields, winter ponds with deep ultramarine blue and their ever changing light and reflections, and misty sunrise mornings.

I create my monoprints by rolling coloured inks onto Perspex, which are in turn printed onto smooth white paper. I then add texture and the finer details of my piece by wiping off and scraping into the ink with various tools, and then printing on top of the coloured image. I enjoy the whole printmaking process, especially when revealing the final image on my etching press.
